Ellie Beth (EB) McDonald is a standout sophomore outside attacker from Lebanon High School’s volleyball team. EB dominated the court this week with 55 kills, proving her to be a force at the net. Defensively she contributed 73 digs and 5 blocks, and at the service line she racked up 10 aces. Her outstanding week is merely a continuation of last season’s success, as she was named All District and All Region as a freshman. EB is a team captain for the Blue Devils, which is a testament to her work ethic and leadership skills.
Outside of volleyball season, EB is also a talented Basketball player. She is currently ranked 19th in Tennessee for her position in Basketball in the class of 2027. Her freshman year she was nominated 2nd team All – District and averaged 9 points per game for the Blue Devils. Outside of being a multi-sport athlete, she excels in the classroom with a 4.0 GPA.
After speaking with EB’s coach, it’s evident that she has become a shining example to her teammates, embodying the true meaning of hard work, persistence, and dedication.
